Affiliate marketing is a way to make money online by promoting other people's products and/or services. You earn a commission for every sale, install, or conversion. You can promote physical or digital products. If you decide to promote offers from OGAds you’ll be promoting app installs, email submits, and podcasts. You’ve probably heard you need to have followers on social media to make any real money, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. You can earn a consistent income with affiliate marketing without followers.
To get started, you’re going to need a few things. You’ll need an account on OGAds, a content locker, a website or landing page, and a piece of content you’d like to lock. Let’s dive into each one of these in detail.
To create an account for OGAds you’ll go to the page here. You’ll then fill out all the required fields on the page. This would include information such as the access info (username, email, etc), address, and then the questions. You’ll want to complete the sign up process, wait to be approved, and then come back to this post.
Now that you’re approved and have access to the dashboard we’re going to want to create a content locker. We touch on this briefly but we do have a video guide on content lockers explaining what they are in detail, how they work, and how to create one. This video series also goes into depth on our dashboard and how to find everything you need.
To create a content locker you’ll go to Tools and then Content Lockers. Or you can click on the link here to take you to it directly. Once on this page, you’ll see a list of all your content lockers, or none if this is your first time creating one. On this page, you’ll want to click on the button Create a Content Locker.
Once on the new page for creating a content locker, you’ll want to fill out the required fields. There are quite a few fields for this, but you’ll want to spend the time doing it and customizing your content locker for both mobile and desktop devices. We highly recommend setting your unlock action to a link containing content you’d like to lock. For example, you could lock an eBook on cryptocurrency and how you can make money with it. When a user completes the required offers in a content locker they’ll be redirected to this link.
Next up, you’ll need to create a website or landing page. We highly recommend starting with our free course on how to make a website which covers this in depth. This will fast-track your ability to make a website.
Creating a landing page with a free HTML template such as cryptostacks will help drastically. Or, if you’re feeling bold you could create a website with something such as WordPress and use a website builder. We recommend starting small with a landing page and working your way up to something more complicated in the future.
When you have a landing page or website, you’ll need to link to your content locker. For example, on cryptostacks, we could direct link to our content locker on the anchor tag. Once we link to the content locker, our landing page would be considered done and we could start pushing traffic.

Just throwing up a landing page or website with a content locker won’t earn you any money. You need traffic (people) coming to your website who want your incentive (what you’re giving away or providing) to complete your content locker. For every offer they complete you’ll earn X amount, this varies depending on the offer.
Typically with affiliate marketing, there are two different types of traffic. Paid and free. When just starting we recommend free traffic as the barrier to entry is a lot lower. Typically you start being profitable sooner rather than later. The only downside is it requires more of your time and it does sometimes require a small initial investment.
YouTube is a great traffic source to get started with and my personal favorite. It works by getting an aged account from an account provider, creating a video promoting your website, uploading the video, and then getting real people to engage with the video from a website such as Microworkers. Pretty simple, right?
Facebook is in our opinion an untapped free traffic source when focusing on reels. The method works by getting a Facebook account, creating a video for promoting your website, mass creating the video with the software, and then mass uploading the reels to your account.
TikTok is largely used by tons of affiliates at OGAds. It works by creating lots of different videos, mass uploading, and hoping one of them goes viral or gets a fair amount of traffic. The users end up on your website from one of the videos you created.
There are other traffic sources out there, but these are the ones we’ve had success with including our affiliates.
As you can see, there are many different ways to start affiliate marketing without a following. Some of these ways include paid traffic, and others include free traffic sources.
